Schisandra Berries Loose Herbs/Tea
Often called a "five-flavor berry" because it possesses all five of the basic flavors: salty, sweet, sour, spicy, and bitter. Having these flavors means that it can benefit all five yin organs: the liver, lungs, heart, kidneys, and spleen.
Ingredients: Organic Schisandra Berries whole (Schisandra chinensis). Also known by Wu Wei zi, schizandra, five flavor berry, fructus schisandra.
Suggested Use: Add to soups, cooking, smoothies, baths, etc. Infuse in water or olive oil. For hot or cold tea, pour 8-12 oz of boiling water over 1 tsp. of herbs. Steep 3-4 min.
